Dwight,

>>They made a free choice, to get the product cheaper Is this so difficult to understand??????

But who chooses whether or not Netscape can be shipped with each PC? Is there something in the OEM agreements that restricts competing software from being pre-loaded on a machine? Is this so difficult to understand?

>>Not only that, but it's simpler to simply put the same thing on every machine. Ring a bell?

So why is Dell so successful at "built-to-customer-specs" machines? Your logic is hopelessly flawed.

>>You, along with Joel Klein, seem heartily willing to prejudge that MSFT is guilty of something, and you don't seem very interested in getting to the facts, but only in stopping Win98. Joel Klein seems to be of the same mind. It's odd that Joel Klein is associated with something called the "Justice" Dept.

Yeah, we are all part of a high-brow conspiracy to ruin Microsoft. Its amazing that the DOJ would get involved in anything regarding legal matters concerning national commerce. Unlike you, I am interested in getting the facts from a source other than Ayn Rand or the Microsoft Investor Relations link.

What other government conspiracies cause you to lose sleep at night? You may want to sit down for this one: The X-FILES is not real, it's a TV show...

Cheers,

Norm
