I suspect that you are right. The run of the mill
purchaser never heard of MMX and is not waiting for
it (although there are certainly techies and others
who are aware and are waiting). The public has been
conditioned to Novemeber-December price drops and the
Christmas gift purchases will probably wait till the
last minute trying to catch the best price of the year.
Just my opinion.
