It does not say that's their maximum, just the maximum that they can own at any one time. It seems to me that if they dump the shares (or just cover their short position) after conversion, they can turn around and do it again. Even if I'm wrong, is there a prohibition on First Boston placing this with multiple holders? If there were 8 shareholders, wouldn't that then result in a potential of 8 million shares? How about 20 shareholders?
