Larry: I don't know about Paul's ancestry but if the market brings on a BNGO bull anywhere near the size of his, I will be one happy fella!<g>

On a more serious note...

I have been digesting today's press releases. Our memo to AB&G (see my post #8491) listing 3 major areas of concern, Investor Communications, Management, and Business Plan with investor communications and concern for shareholder value being first and foremost. Today's press releases provide good evidence that this will be a primary focus of this new administration. To wit:

1. A stock buyback plan. Although details have yet to be announced, the mere fact AB&G has made it official such a plan is in the works shows strong concern for shareholder value.

2. Conference Call. AB&G could have easily waited until the annual meeting in a few weeks before making another effort to communicate with shareholders but they chose to do it the second day of the new CEO's tenure.

3. The new CEO, Andre Hilliou, lists himself as the primary contact person. Orton, as usual, is listed also but, significantly (to me, at least) NOT Fearnow's company, Financial Broker Relations, or this new group, Newport Capital. Also, how often did you see Greg Wilson list himself as an investor contact in press releases?

If these indications are at all suggestive of how we, as investors, will be treated in the future, I think we have cause for optimism.
