Geoff,

My comment about Market Makers 'shaking the trees' was about 80% serious. I think it is done fairly frequently, in order to pick up shares from weak hands, or those who have established close stops. I don't know that it can be done with DELL for 5 points... But I do find it extraordinarily curious that the price on expiration day stopped at the first available option strike, thus making a great number of May 90 options expire worthless. Obviously, the INTC downgrade by the ML analyst, Kurlak (sp?) helped them by creating some market uncertainty, though certainly there was no collusion. <g>

Did you happen to see that excellent post by Ken Strickler the other day?

Substitute the numbers 95 and 90 for 100 and 95... and it does look a lot like deja vu! (all over again)
