Issues Update to Shareholders MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1998--Global Games Corp. issued a statement today regarding a possible management services contract with an entity in Canada. The Canadian group has asked Global Games to consider expanding their original management services proposal. Global Games' President Gary Borglund elaborated, ''We have been working on a significant management services contract with an entity in Canada. This agreement was expected to be signed and announced this week. ''We have been pleasantly surprised, however, as the principals of that entity have asked us to consider expanding our involvement in their project to include a substantially larger management services role. This review will require several more days of discussions.'' Mr. Borglund concluded saying, ''We indicated in our last press release that we expected to announce significant news this week. While we are unable to make that announcement at this time, we recognize the importance of keeping our shareholders informed of all developments on a consistent basis. Our shareholders' confidence is very important to the overall success of Global Games and we greatly appreciate their support.'' Global Games, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:GLOW - news) is an Internet-based commercial service business providing secure automated transaction processing for merchants and Internet customers. Global licenses software for Internet gaming, and, also sells prepaid electronic chat-line cards through ATM-style dispensing units of its electronic card services operation. Additionally, Global provides management and consulting services. Global's core marketing strategy is to develop ''recurring electronic revenue streams'' based on targeted niche markets where the company's expertise can be leveraged.
