Not as interesting to me as a "bigger" play. They have no quasi-monopoly on the product. They will get into cut throat competition for sales of the same product everyone will be selling. Good for all retailers, even better for specialty retailers, but just seems like the bigger play will be on the side of the suppliers. If ZE can miraculously survive until the actual sales of volume sets begin, it could be a very good play. It will be very interesting to watch for signs of Zenith being able to survive. If it does, 2 years from now it may be the Chyrsler of the electronics industry. I just don't have confidence that they can survive. The rest of the HDTV manufacturers will likely be part of a Japanese/Korean conglomerate where again the play will be diluted by the other interests/products.
