I don't think that this is going to matter. If the government has made the decision to be in the technology industries face (which I believe it has with the merger suits being filed, Microsoft, Intel, NY States class action suit against Intuit, Autodesk) this could bode ill for the likes of Oracle who has a very commanding marketshare in enterprise database, or Sun who very soon could have the unenvieable position of close to 100% market share in Unix (purchased) workstations and servers.

I think many people in the high tech industry call for regulation/intervention etc...but one the nose is in the tent it is too late.
