ASCO begins today (see asco.org ) and chemoprevention will be a hot topic. LLY will show striking data for Evista (Raloxifene) and the press should be all over this one. Results of combining Panretin with Tamoxifen to treat breast cancer in humans might generate some coverage. Targretin and Panretin have been shown to prevent breast cancer in rats and both have been shown to synergize with Tamoxifen and Evista. Lately there has also been a good deal of coverage on Tamoxifen being under prescribed for treating breast cancer.
