Toby, I noticed this also. Earnings and outlook were upbeat:

Net income .20 .04
Shr earns (diluted)
Net income .19 .04
Four analysts surveyed by First Call had a mean earnings estimate of
16 cents a share for the latest quarter.
SDL (SDLI) said the recent launch of new fiber optic
telecommunications products should continue to boost revenues during the
second half of the year.

Maybe a buying opportunity? Information is so hard to get....wj
