<About the coming world-wide crash>

You, sir, are an ass.

We may have a short term correction, or a 10% - 15% dip.
But please don't confuse that with a crash. The advent
of computer technology has created one of the greatest
economic booms since the industrial evolution. And we
have not even begun to unleash the potential of the internet.
I think we'll see a DOW 20,000+ and quicker than you might
think.

Microsoft took the lead in market cap over GM, T, Dupont,
and all the old guard leaders from a standing start in only about
20 years. And what do they make? Little 1's and 0's on pieces
of plastic! Who knows? The leaders in market cap in the next
20 years may be companies like AOL and Yahoo which control
the flow of information.

P.S. The Y2K will only be a blip on the screen. Sure we may have
a shakeout for a few weeks in January 2000, but I don't think
it'll have any profound effects on the economy.
