Glad to hear this; I just bought a SparQ 1 GB this week.

If you figure it out, the cost of the media is 1/5 that of the
100 Mb Zip drive, per unit of storage.

The Zip is (was) a nice machine (in its day.) But with
scanned images running at 15 Mbytes, I'm spending
nearly $2.00 an image just storing the damn thing on
a Zip disk!!!

It annoys me that the cost of the Zip media hasn't
dropped an inch in the 2 years or so that I've owned
the drive.

If you'll notice, the image quality acceptable to this individual is 15MB-- yes, the same 15MB that I have been touting as necessary to give good image quality in a digital format. The Vapor! toy drive will only hold 2 of these images, 3 if you settle for a loss of picture quality. The Vapor! toy cannot be seriously considered as a professional piece of gear.
