Thanks George i am not that smart. I have had a friend visiting me and their concept that we are good for a least another fifteen years market wise. Perpetual funding re new issues and much seed money out there. I had little concept of what deflation could do. TOKYO (Nikkei)-Major Japanese banks appear to be facing another period of depressed earnings in the current fiscal year ending next March. Corporate bankruptcies are on the rise, along with rising fears that the full impact of the Asian economic crisis will hit during fiscal 1998. Many market participants expect deflation fears to fuel further declines in long-term interest rates. But some express concern that the government bond market, yields in which have hit a succession of record lows, has risen too sharply.
