Reseller, since you're the expert, see if you can explain Apple thinking on this one.....while in a huge new COMPUSA, mid-week, I noted that most of the new top-end desk-tops had ZIP built-in. I also noted that most of the new top-end power books were sporting built-in
Super Drives. What a strange marketing ploy....."I'll take one of each." NOT!

FWIW, IOM had incredible amount of shelf space and floor space. Great selection and you could see that about half the merchandise had moved.
Super Drive had about 10 percent of the space. A wide range of competing products were available in ones and twos.
