Kenneth,

I agree this is a very interesting press release. It would be interesting to know some of the technical details of this project. One interesting parameter would be average traffic and peak traffic on this network. I know from research published on ATM LANS that send fairly intensive graphics or imaging files that these numbers are probably well below the capacity of this network - assuming that it has full GByte speed. For example, a busy radiology department could generate 16 GBytes/day of imaging data or about 3.5 TBytes/year. The total bandwidth traffic described for this network peaks at about 1800 MB/hr during peak load and during the off periods is 50 - 100 MB/hr.

I guess I would like to know who lives/works in this condominium and what their bandwidth requirements are.
