In your self professed "arrogance" you have touched a bit of wisdom IMHO. I rant and rave about the insidious nature of business and politics here but I would not resort to "bleeding the patient". Unfortunately it is not easy as the American public has little understanding and patience for just how ingrained the practices here are. But I do think it is right and proper to have a timetable on reforms, and a milestone disbursement mechanism.
