Today the Business Times confirmed with companies in Batam and Bintan (two islands with huge Singapore investment) that production there is almost zero distruption. Only banks were closed which caused some problems with payroll. These two islands are major exporters of high-value added goods. Major companies like NatSteel Electronics (6th largest contract manufacturer in the world) and Aztech (CREAF's competitor) manufacture in Batam.
