Thanks for the post. If you think about it, Dell is still in its infancy. With such a dynamic company only having a 7% market share, the upside is incredible. (here comes my Andy Rooney impersonation)
What am I missing here? All of Dell's competitors are performing badly and now Dell is in trouble? Does Dell have ownership of their competitors? If they do, someone needs to get to MD and tell him to sell! Has anyone thought that Dell might be to blame for their competitors lack of performance? Dell is kicking butt! BTW I am curious how intelligent the people are that short Dell stock? How much money could they have made (by owning) over the last 10 years with a stock that has performed like Dell? When they post their bear messages, its like yelling "I'm a bonehead and I don't have the good sense not to short Dell" and "I will never learn my lesson". Aren't they embarrassed? I also wonder what possibly could have happened to the bears in their childhood that would have caused them to be the way they are? They have issues that need to be dealt with instead of posting on SI.

See ya,
Dan

PS does anyone have any thoughts on the realistic future growth of Dell over the next five years?
