Well this is a very very special case. The largest gold producer in the world and it is basically DeBeers. This is an exceedingly complex company with vast holdings in natural resources, multiple joint ventures and not so easy to due a study of. Nonetheless it is my favorite South African gold. Pays a nice dividend as well. This to my way of thinking is a gold stock for one's retirement portfolio. Anyone who knows the history of DeBeers knows that this is not a company but an international force of major proportions. Great company. However not a speculative issue and I doubt if this thread will last long. Most of these threads are focused on speculative issues not on the bluest chips and this is the bluest of the bluest.
