maybe creeping incrementalism, however expensive preserves the integration model, which at this point is the core competency and the motor of abnormal profits, and as such is to be defended to the last man. I think you've hit the nail on the head. However, DOJ's on to their goame, and they are not going to let Microsoft pull another Consent Decree, that is clear. It's too late for that. They can keep the monopoly, or they can keep the business model. But they can't keep both. Right now, it looks like they want to keep the monopoly.
