Elmer, K6-3D 300/100 Winstone 98 (more to PII's advantage than Winstone 97) = 21.8 Pentium II 300/100 Winstone 98 = 22.7. sysdoc.pair.com The difference is negligible. Plus, the K6 chip with 3D drivers lets you blast space mutants faster. Not to mention the K6 is MUCH cheaper. So to say, "the PII easily out performs the K6-x clock for clock" is just plain inaccurate. What is accurate is that the K6 EASILY outperforms the PII dollar for dollar. Kevin
