David,
re: <<What rumors have you heard?>>
Unfortunately, we all know that rumors = the surest way to lose all our hard-earned $.
Until these rumors are substantiated by management, publication in recognized medical journal, etc., no need to spread them. Suffice it to say that anything I've heard has been positive, or else I wouldn't still be holding, plus trying to drum up a little activity on this board.
What we do know, plus some guesses: Taking a look at CYGS web page, we find 3 major areas of emphasis: TeloVector, RegeniDerm, Aquaculture.
Last press release mentions that CYGS is in negotiations for the acquisition of MobileMed, HerbRx, and Cosmeceuticals, Inc. Strictly guessing, but it appears that MobileMed would give financial stability to CYGS, plus the fact that someone must think a lot of CYGS to have their profitable company join with them. The other 2 companies seem to fall in line with RegeniDerm, meaning (maybe?) that others see the potential there.
And I couldn't help but notice the amount of space that CYGS dedicated to shrimp farming. (Former CYGS'er) Steve Sloat was real high on shrimp farming. I had heard no more of it until web page update. Looks like CYGS still has some pretty bold plans in this arena.
With CYGS sitting at .22/.24, I feel like the odds may only be 1 in 20, but the payoff may be 200 to 1. So I hold.
Based on some pretty bold assertions and goals on the web site, I'd take another guess that either: a. CYGS is for real. The story is developing as we speak, and the rest of the world will know before too long; or b. Pack your shorts, we're headed south.
I still think that "a" has a good chance of being the right answer.
Maybe someone who knows a lot more than I will shed some light.
Good luck your way, David
