Re: the Forbes Article

DELL reports its diluted earnings and has been doing so for several years. This takes into account the stock options granted to employees and directors etc. So these options have already been factored into DELL's earnings report.

FORBES seems to be implying that DELL's earnings would go negative if the cost of these options were factored into earning per share. I think this is an incorrect spin on stock options for the reason I stated in paragraph 1.

Could it be that they are really saying that DELL's earnings would be a lot more if they did not grant options? this calls for a financial analyst.
