ET, >i think merril lynch and kurlak where scamming the markets friday with that negative comment about semi's....they should have an investigation.......< It is been reported many times on SI that in the opinions of the posters that analyst downgrade many stocks after the stocks have already gone down--then wait for the stocks to go down further. After the stocks have gone down further it appears that the mutual funds then buy before the individual investors buy and wait for the stocks to go back up. Then, they make an upgrade. Naturally, I am sure this type of thing would not occur.:) Or would it? Just my $.02. Paul V.
