Hello X, ......I am new to SI and was reading a few post tonight. I came upon yours and read your profile.......I was intrigued by your location........Scotland. I just came home from a Ceilidh. What a time we had. Spent the day with the children at the Highland games. They are celebrated at a Highlander Festival held at a University near my home. The University is named after Edinburgh Scotland. We have had a wonderful weekend....enjoying the history and culture of the events that were held. The Piping competition was among my favorites events of the day. At the Ceilidh, a Scotsman, whom has moved to the states did the addressing of the haggis. What a wonderful job he did with the Robert Burns rendition. Also enjoyed the christening of the kilts..... I realize my subject is a bit skewed from the recent SI feelings posts.....but feeling great after the Highlander activities...... ~~Neenny~~
