An interesting reaction... to me at least :-)

You know, it seemed like everytime I read the board last week, I saw a macker message screaming SOUTH AMERICA.

I found it really interesting that I saw no follow-up posts from the gallery here with research or guesses as to what that might mean. So, I spent more than a little bit of time looking at the South American countries, populations, telephone networks, etc. I was planning on finishing the research today and posting my findings (and a guess, of course <g>).

I got sidetracked with responding to some of the earlier posts today and attending to some family duties. After reading and re-reading the posts made today, I realized I just didn't have an appetite for it. Why? BECAUSE IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!

The posts today, the newsletter, the chat with Roger Templeton, the research and insightful comments have all combined to give me a quiet confidence that this company is destined for greatness.

As stated before, the infrastructure is sound and in place. Obvious company strengths match to critical (or key) success factors. The only thing I can think of that is missing is huge amounts of capital to fund the growth. Macker and Byron have been telling us about "deep pockets" for a while now. I would say that Mr. Templeton himself provided the circumstantial evidence to back their statements. The Dharma money has not been touched, but we were able to purchase an Indonesian phone company. We have closed or are very close to several contracts. The deals require capital - its a part of Digitcom's strategy in acquiring the deals. Yet, the Dharma money has not been touched - and there seems to be no let-up in pursuing additional contracts. How does a small company like Digitcom accomplish that? The answer is obvious and has been stated for some time.

The contracts will come. It doesn't matter who's next because by all appearances they are coming as fast as the company can handle them. They are being done whether or not I guess who's next. I don't need to anticipate the company. I have confidence. The mosaic tiles are falling into place.

P.S. Doesn't mean I can't get excited if someone were to tell me where negotiations were taking place or deals done <vbg>
