Dwight Karlsen .. Re:"FIRE" Thanks for the response. Please note .. I said "if it gets to the point" I believe that this is the target that Microsoft is willing to go through hell on earth for. This was in response to the concept of freedom of choice that was being expressed here. that is: if you don't like it you don't have to use it.. Microsoft now is the OS on .. what.. 90%(?) of the PCs being used now. Every piece of hardware that is being designed, every piece of software being developed has to be windows compatible or it can't be sold. This is now being expanded to the internet..every web page, every form, every query .. whatever..is now all going to be defined by what Microsoft decides. And this does not include such concepts as "DOS ain't done until lotus can't run" being leveraged into the internet. SHOULD THIS DOOR BE OPEN? I think not. Gersh
