The move looks to be a good one, as the DP vendor has acquired seven new Year 2000 agreements in the first quarter. All seven of the companies signed to the agreements operate globally, including Norwegian Cruise Lines, Banc One Corp., and Adidas U.S. EDS recruiters continue to hire new programmers touting their compensation package which includes "no hassle" travel benefits like free dry cleaning and pet care and a special Millennium Bonus to be awarded in the Year 2000. "These new contracts are indicative of the positive relationships that EDS is building with CIOs around the world," said Stuart Reeves, executive vice president of EDS.
