Nigel....You could be right, especially with NO NEWS, however, you can never tell when news will hit....No matter where the price is when a significant move on the part of SEEK is announced the price will go up...Then there's successive announcements, which may compound, adding several points...There's also sympathy moves - say YHOO! beats expectations again - there's more points there (could even be a wild run-up like this time -------I didn't sell because it's hard to time a stock.....Although if you are close to break-even on your purchase I can understand selling as a protective measure, I would too.
