Beautiful. JAVA/that "niche". So much for "niches". In a world of absurdity, the idea that Sun is any kind of "niche" player is high on the absurdity list. In actual fact, the usual complaint [for example those who argue whether Sun is a true "gorilla" as in The Gorilla Game] is that Sun is too broad - doing too much in too many areas. Pervasive, servers - software and hardware, workstations (back to its origins), and then the hand held devices, "applications", embedded software, smart cards and on and on with the ubiquitous Java. Like wow! The Mother of all "niches". Chaz
