There appears to be a bit of confusion regarding Macs in general, and "superdrives" in particular.

"Superdrive" is Apple's 3.5" 1.44mb floppy diskette drive. The one in all their systems. Desktops and laptops. Apple called their floppy the "Superdrive" because it has a motorized disk ejection feature, unlike a standard 3.5" floppy drive found in PCs. Apple's "SUperdrive" has been around for at least 5 years.

Apple's "Superdrive" is NOT a variant of the LS-120 "Superdisk." Apple is NOT putting "Superdisk" drives in ANY of their systems. Quite the contrary; until the USB version (just announced) hits the streets, there is not a single "Superdisk" that is compatible with the Mac OS. There are no drivers for it.
