Bradley,

Nice find. I particularly like the last sentence of this paragraph:

"Red Brick Systems, the little database company that could, scored a big win last week when Amazon.com signed on to use its data warehouse
technology for a terabyte data warehouse project. Amazon.com's recently installed CIO is Rick Dalzell, former data warehouse and data mining guru over at Wal-Mart. Dalzell knows a thing or two about database technology and the contract is a major endorsement for Red Brick."

Also, here's a post from someone who attended the shareholder meeting last Friday. Apparently, the meeting was quite positive:
messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

FWIW, I noticed REDB had several large blocks of 10M shares trade at the offer last Friday. Maybe this was a reaction to the positive shareholder meeting? -or it could have been due, simply, to the fact that Friday was also May's option expiration.
