Hi Ben,
Interesting political discussion here. I have an opinion too that I can't resist expressing. That is that we are innocent until proven guilty, I know everyone knows that. The lawyer defends us on that premise. To say the lawyer is defending criminals is saying the accused is already guilty. Our constitution says we are not! Our system is better because the prosecution must prove our guilt BEYOND a reasonable doubt. In other countries the defendant is guilty until proven innocent. To be accused alone proves guilt and the accused has to somehow overcome that prejudice to prove their innocence. I would not want to live there.
As far as Ronald Reagan and the deficit goes 435 congressman and 100 senators also share the blame, unless they voted against all those deficits and not enough did. It galls me to see them get away with what they have done to us. BOB.
