dave- duplication, and its elimination, is what its all about. for one, a merger would give WSTL access to VDSL technology, and provide yet more leverage to use on TXN. plus, you get to cut out ORCTFs chip production!!! basically, a merger would give the combined company more leverage with partners, and more flexibility. good luck to all, trey
