Similar concerns are being raised over Windows 98, which has
much more highly integrated Internet browser function than the
previous product.

I don't like that integrated word one bit. To me it means less OS reliability and more headaches dealing with an OS that is already shaky when it comes to stability. Of course I keep hearing, especially on MSFT threads, that Win98 sucks less than 95 so perhaps it's worth a look.

The company argues it has the right to place whatever functions it wants into the operating software to deliver product innovation to consumers.

That is scary! I'm all for innovation but at the expense of buying software from only one company? Like I've said before, now it is a web browser that had to become an integrated part of the OS, next a word processor, then spread sheet and so on. Where do we draw the line?
