Nasd rules state you cant cross or lock the inside market in a stock without first trying to acquire shares reasonably. Perhaps Nite had called TSCO, bot some from TSCO and went to the bid, knowing that TSCO wasn't really exposed but just hadn't changed its market yet. Or perhaps their order was sufficient large that they reasonably could not get stock and went to the bid. Hey, its a wonderful wqay to create signficant upsdie pressures, make the stock look hot. And they are only exposed to a 1000 at most every few minutes.

2. os ISRN, i would never show a market maker a bid for 5k when they have an exposure of only 1k. I would show perhaps lots of 2k, which is do-able. Any more and you look like the saavy trader that you are and lok like smart money, which Nite has no interest in doing business with.

Next time you see some action in a stock you would like an opinion on, please stop in our dynamic, chat site and bring it to me attention...i'll watch it with you.

Call anytime if you want to discuss anything else.
