Andrew, what I find surprising is that so few of us on this thread seem to be concerned with this issue. This is not a bull vs. bear issue. As I see it, this is an issue of shareholder rights and managerial accountability.

I used to own SEG and was infuriated when I found out that they made a habit of repricing their options when the market fell. Ostensibly, the purpose of the options is to link corporate performance to executive compensation. So -- naive me -- I wonder how this is accomplished when these same executives are able to immediately sell on the open market, or when options are repriced so that these guys are sure to get their millions from the hides of investors who have already suffered losses in the market?
