"does anyone have a handle as to WHY PC sales are soft?" Could it be that more and more PC sales are going thru other than retail channels? Do you consider DELL a "retail" channel because their sales are certainly not soft as reported this week. It still is over a month before Christmas. Intel is earning over $15 million/day right now - roughly .02/share per day! Barry
