Darren,

Yes, I did go to their two-day seminar. But it was mostly a lot of "PR" type stuff, not a lot of training. And, I've been told they don't do that anymore, anyway.

I respectfully disagree, though, with most of your remarks. Cyber's manual has many errors in it and is not very detailed. I have read it in its entirety several times. It is good, better than many, but not good enough to constitute the only training to be provided.

For you to say that the only way to lose money is buying at the wrong time is really a cute statement, but an over-simplification, too. It's not true. If one doesn't realize how certain features work, e.g., the Smart Keys, or if one isn't able to properly use all the tools available in software, then some losses are surely to result. Or, at least, some profits would be lesser than they could have been, constituting a virtual loss, in my opinion. Lost profits.

Sure, people can learn software on their own. We have all done that. But it's one thing to slowly plow your way through a well-written word processor manual, and an entirely different thing to "play" the stock market, learning features from an inadequate and poorly written manual, from an internet chatroom, and learning from phone calls, all the while one's capital is at risk.

I have personally talked to many Cyber users who know less about the software than I do, and I feel I have a lot yet to be learned. I can tell from posts on this thread that some traders do not understand very basic, fundamental features of CyberTrader. Isn't it a pity, though, that some people are risking their capital without fully understanding the software they use? Yes, it certainly is.

So, we may disagree on this issue, Darren. But I certainly respect your right to have an opinion contrary to mine. Perhaps I am not explaining myself well. I realize I am very disappointed in Cyber Corp's apparent lack of interest in training. When I started, they had a nice training room and a nice trading room. Now, they have neither. What does that tell you? Where are our priorities?
