Re: Training

I was told they now do one-on-one traning via phone with PC Anywhere, which allows the trainer to take control of your keyboard/mouse and see what you see. Sounded quite "hands on". Have you asked about or done this? What was your experience?

I am still investigating between CyBerTrader, MB Trading, and Livetrade. I haven't made any decisions yet, but I can't say I'm leaning towards CyBer. One thing I have learned is that the base software that MB uses (RealTick III) is in much wider use than CyBer's custom software. I don't want to get into religious debates over which platform is "better" but my observation is that in the software business it's best to stick with what's standard since the standard product tends to have the widest range of support and aftermarket features as well as receive the most development attention. Is anyone able to comment on this marketshare aspect of the program?

I was also somewhat concerned when CyBerCorp told me that they would not permit me to install the program myself but rather using PC Anywhere they would install and configure my machine themselves without telling me what they were doing "for security reasons". Sorry, but "security through obscurity" is a giant red flag for anyone with any background in computers.
