See livetrade.com for details. There is a thread here on SI to discuss it at Subject 20264 . Livetrade seems to be the first example of a discount broker (in this case J. B. Oxford thru Alex Moore & Co.) moving beyond the first-generation web-based trading platforms we've come to know and love/hate to an integrated execution system. They're also RealTick based.

My expectation is that within 12-18 months all of the online discount brokers will offer this sort of capability to their "high end" customers. My understanding is that Datek is working on something similar which is currently in beta-test. This is another factor arguing for careful research. The brokerage industry is one of the leading exploiters of internet technology and this whole field is evolving at a frantic pace.
