Sergio, I wasn't thinking about making a play on Geotek I just found the article interesting, I know I wouldn't lend them any money.
KATC I couldn't find that much on them, 2 insiders hold about 50%, Funds just about zero and Institution about 10%(with one over 9% so without them it would be just about zero)Looks like the Funds haven't found this one yet or are not interested. They seem to be doing well against the Industry averages. Revenues, Net Income and EPS improving, yet gross profits as a percent of net sales decreased, 3 acquisitions in the last 18 months. That's some good looking consolidated statement of operations for the first quarter. I see they mentioned the year
2000 problems and seem to think they are compliant and that the year 2000 will not impact the company to much. I guess the 1996 stock option plan is nothing to worry about, this is kind of a standard thing is it not? Im sure you did your FA work on them this report is for my practice. Now for the TA, they have made I nice move this year so far, IMO there will be a pullback and you should be able to get a better price, I would be looking at it again when it goes back down to the 6 area. I think you will see 6 again before you see 8.
P.S. I used apostrophes because my lovely wife saw this and wouldn't let me post it without them.
