Patrick,
This is not an issue about companies jumping each time someone writes or says something negative about it... that happens every day. This is an issue, IMO, of a concerted effort by certain individuals to destroy KRY. If KRY can't make any decent deals or has problems raising capital due to the litigation pending and the negative publicity hanging over it, it will have more problems. If you know anything different, please post it.
I for one have done my DD as far as it can be done. I am long the stock and intend to stay that way as I "believe" Eric Charter's version of the facts... it is not all "hype." Unfortunately, Patrick, there are many who don't read the discussion forums, but only receive the Stockwatch e-mails. Is it too much to ask your Company to go after Stockwatch and protect the Company and its future? Stockwatch info is widely broadcast and picked-up by the newswires as well.
Secondly, I believe you are not considering the effect of the political arena in Venezuela. The SC decision was proportedly made quite some time ago, but yet has not been released. The election now going on in Venezuela I believe has much to do with that. SC judges in Venezuela are appointed are they not? Is it possible that Venezuela is trying to force a settlement or joint venture on the La Cristinas 4 & 6 property between KRY and PDG... particularly with KRY's Albino property being right next door?
Anything is possible, Patrick, and nobody... I repeat, nobody... knows the outcome... yet (unless you know differently, then please tell us).
My own personal feelings are that what is "legally correct" is one thing and what is "politically expedient" is another. What KRY needs now is credibility and, IMHO, letting large negative media campaigns go unchallenged is not in the best interest of the Company or the stockholders. KRY spent money for a full page ad to attempt to offset one negative a month or so ago. A press release detailing the facts would, IMO, be far more effective... I don't get that newspaper... do you, or did you hear about it on this string?
<< In your other post, you mentioned a lawsuit by shareholders against management. What for? What have they done wrong? Your target should be StockWatch.. >> No Patrick, not my target... it should be KRY's management's target!!!
<< I am sure that if you have some investment experience, you will appreciate that management of companies do not advertise their every move. They are paid to manage...so let them manage. If they do a bad job, you have the opportunity to let directors know what you think and hope they change management. You also have the opportunity to invest elsewhere if this speculative situation is not for you, which it appears is your case. >>
Let me assure you that I have considerable investment experience... from being involved in private placements to venture capital investments to taking a startup company public, and to being Chairman of the Board of a public company and its principal stockholder in the late '60s until I had a heart attack (nothing to do with the company) and sold out my stock for personal reasons (went from $2 IPO to $16 in one year). I am over 60 years old and retired at 42. My investment experience is relatively strong. I accept KRY as being a crap shoot... not because of their properties, but because of the garbage going on. They certainly don't and shouldn't advertise their every move, but they should make every effort to protect your investment by smashing the negative media campaigns. Is there any validity to the latest Stockwatch release regarding the timeline established by KRY's own representative in Venezuela? Do you know factually or are you just "assuming" it to be false because Stockwatch published it?
One final comment, Patrick. This is not the Stockhouse forum. I have made it clear that I am long KRY. Certainly you will agree that open discussions are not only good, but necessary... or won't you? Telling people to sell and move on if they don't like it does not quite intelligently respond to a question or comment.
Best regards,
