GP,
Do you doubt that a sell signal was given on 5/14/98, and what makes you an expert on technical analysis (TA) by your own admission you do not know or understand the art. See post #385 <https://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=4430699>
My post #387 was meant for confirmation to those such as AR who have the ability to understand and appreciate technical analysis. Do you question the news events of the day if it was printed in the news paper that evening or the following morning?
What technical advise I give to these posts is strictly my opinion. Not always correct, but close enough. I leave it to the participants on this thread, whether or not my technical analysis is of any value. My advice to you is, if you don't like the information I publish, ignore it.
GP, get off of your TA bashing stint. Just because you don't like it or understand it, doesn't mean that it isn't a great tool. If you would spend as much time studying the subject as you spend deriding those who use it, you might come to appreciate it; and in the bargain make a lot of money.
