It isn't slavery for the people who benefit from it through no value of their own -- only to those who are threatened with prison at the point of a gun who refuse to give value from the things they create just because a government which "represents" a mob has made it a "crime" not to do so.

Last great example was the famous "Brain Drain" wherein many of England's best fled the island to keep their wealth and what they produced from the hands of the "redistribution of wealth" socialists during the 1960s. I believe the tax rate at that time was upwards of 90%.
