Mr. Forthright: I think anything is possible and try to keep an open mind about everything. I will tell you, however, that in 1970 a computer programmer that I knew working on a large banking computer system in Calgary told me that in 30 years the computers he was working on would crash. He never really explained why and we all just laughed over our beers. I never forgot this and hence my whole interest in the Y2K issue. That is also why, in spite of owning 3 computers, I never used one until about a month ago when my family finally pushed me onto it! It may or may not have anything to do with Y2K, but it is interesting to note that the Mayan calendar, which is recognized as one of the most accurate calendars devised by man, inexplicably ends in the year 2002 (same year Euro conversions are to be completed).....food for thought?
