...but maybe you are having a problem coming up with the correct answers b/c if your are stating this as fact:

Interesting article DJ, but why did you bolden the part about 16 Mbit prices not dropping further?? To highlight how wrong Nomura is? They're talking about $3.30 and current prices are $1.50-$2.00 ... say what?

Then how in the world can you make a nonsensical statement as this:

...you need to have the 64mb prices at $6-8 right now and I have not heard those prices anywhere near it. You are trying to have your cake and eat it. I think you better take your calculator and re-work the 16mb or 64mb or both to show if a crossover point has occurred...unless of course you are willing to say it hasn't happened yet<vbg>

A clue, Mike, PII processors need 64mb chips b/c their systems are configured with 64mbytes and higher. Every other system doesn't know or care what chip is used in its system as long as it is obtained at the lowest bit price.

You see DJBEINO was being very astute when he highlighted those parts of that article, and you chose to critcize him b/c of the results of your trusty calculator ...which derived a "very precise" wrong answer.:-)
