1. go_lgnd and his alter egos stay anonymous, while Henry is totally open about who he is and what he is about.
2. go_lgnd and alter egos provide little substantive information about Ligand, they mostly congratulate each other for expressing negatives about Ligand stock price; in opposition to Henry of course. The investment strategy would appear to be "not Ligand, not now, maybe never, based on yesterday's closing stock price and reciprocal to HNiman".
3. go_lgnd and alter egos misrepresent who they are and what they are about. Do they trade the stock and it's derivatives? Do they have long term holdings? Do they hold a position at all? Trash talk about HNiman aside, what do they hope to accomplish on this and other boards? There is little evidence they believe in the companies future; if so why are they here?
4. Long term investors, if rational, don't tear down their investment, or their investment's most vocal and persuasive supporters. They discuss it's prospects, argue about it's business outlook, attempt to time their buying and selling for maximum profit... if they are negative about the company they sell out, maybe announce they are out of the stock, then move on.
