yes, the conversion is dependent on an "average" trading price for UTR. I do not, however, know the time period over which the average price will be calculated. I wouldn't mind UTR hanging low here for at least another month. I just might be able to get better than the 1:1 conversion. But then again if Unitrode goes too low, however, the deal might not be approved.

Now that you posted the information concerning WDC I remember reading the statement, but I was expecting the standard excuses concerning weak disk drives, inventory adjustments, etc. I guess I was reading what I was expecting to read, not what was actually stated. Thanks for bringing that up.
