They have been announcing "strategic alliances" for months now. It is not helping their bottom line, it is not helping the stock price. The analysts don't buy their strategic alliances for some reason. It is my belief that E*Trade has been pigeonholed by the analysts as a brokerage stock with a fancy concept, not as a true internet stock. The valuation is set. This stock is not going anywhere.
